Michael is a counselor and psychotherapist with more than forty years of clinical experience. After receiving his doctorate from the University Maine, he moved to the Midwest to begin his career. He has been a community agency behavioral health counselor. For many years he treated those with addictions. Most recently, he has trained as a trauma therapist and in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing (EMDR).

Michael is also a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Lindenwood University; and has been active in training new counselors and therapists at several Universities. Michael is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Illinois.
